The $25 million Gordon Field House on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology opened in August 2004. The multi-use facility features an arena for concerts and other entertainment events with a seating capacity of more than 8,000. The Field House also has a fitness center, swimming facilities and the flexibility to host a variety of other events. Lynyrd Skynyrd played one of the first concerts in the new arena and many other top acts are sure to come in the future.
