Alltel Arena
Alltel Arena is one of the newest entries in the growing small arena scene. The people of Little Rock, Arkansas decided they needed someplace to entertain the growing population drawn to the easy living in the area and with help from the state began construction of this facility in 1995. They now have one of the premiere venues in the south. Hosting Arena Football and the Arkansas Twister, the University of Alabama-Little Rock basketball teams, and just about any type of entertainment under the sun, seats in the Alltel Arena have become synonymous with good times.
There are two concert configurations. The seating chart for the 360 degree configuration can hold 18,000 fans and often carries a center stage setup. The smaller seating arrangement holds 15,000 and puts everyone in the audience in front of an end stage for good sight lines. For UALR fans there’s room for 18,000 when basketball season opens. And for fans of the fast paced Arena Football, 16,000 seats, plenty of them within a few rows of the action, are available for all Twister home games. Besides that, there’s tons of entertainment for mom and dad, along with fun for the whole family as acts like The Blue Man Group, concert artists, and the Barnum and Bailey Circus fill the seats at the Alltel Arena.
