The Fixx Tickets
The English band the Fixx broke onto the scene in 1982 with the release of their debut album Shuttered Room. It’s tough to label the Fixx as a full on new-wave band but categorically speaking the description fits. Though their didn’t receive a major US marketing campaign in 1982, it was their performance at the King Biscuit Flower hour that helped them to get videos on MTV. Still going strong more then twenty years later, the Fixx are looking to reunite with their fans by brining their music on the road this summer. The Fixx had a great impact on the music of the early eighties and with the resurgence of the new-wave sound in modern music, the Fixx are sure to be a hit again.
