Order System of a Down tickets for their upcoming summer tour. The So-Cal, alt-metal band reemerges atop of the Billboard charts with release of Mezmorize, the first of a two-disc compilation Mezmorize/Hypnotize, making System of a Down concert tickets a great buy. Hypnotize will be released in the late fall of 2005. Reserve System of a Down tickets for an exciting concert season.
It’s hard to place a label on System of a Down. Obviously heavy metal plays a large part in the band’s sound but throw in progressive alternative rock, speed metal, and if their newest hit sinlge “B.Y.O.B.” is any basis for comparison, you can add R&B to the mix also. What you ultimately get is a unique, distinctive sound not found anywhere lese on the airwaves. Lead singer Serj Tankian provides a range of vocals with the backing of guitarists Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian, and the timely percussion of John Dolmayan. System of a Down then infuses thought provoking lyrics usually centered on political or religious viewpoints. Definitely not your average metal band.
System of a Down’s double-disc release of Mezmorize/Hypnotize follows three years after the success of Toxicity which has since gone platinum six times. The newest release doesn’t depart too much from previous efforts, nor does it rehash old tunes. Since the success of their first hit “Sugar”, System of a Down has continually improved upon their last efforts.
Reserve System of a Down tickets now for the summer tour. The band opens the summer on a European tour before hitting the West Coast in August.
