Lil Wayne Tickets

Lil Wayne is arguably the most popular rapper of the last decade. He has worked with an incredibly diverse group of artists including Eminem, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, and many others. Wayne recently released his tenth studio album, I Am Not A Human Being II in March and continues to be one of the hardest working rappers in the industry. As he embarks on his America’s Most Wanted Festival this summer, Weezy will perform at 40 venues across the county. Not only can you come to a Lil Wayne concert and be guaranteed great rap, but you can also bet your bottom dollar that he will be putting on a great show in front of thousands and thousands of fans! Lil Wayne was born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. and grew up in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. Carter enrolled in the gifted program of Lafayette Elementary School and in the drama club of Eleanor McMain Secondary School. He wrote his first rap song at age eight. At age eleven, he met Bryan Williams (Birdman), rapper and owner of Cash Money Records. Lil Wayne recorded freestyle raps on Williams’ answering machine; Williams would eventually mentor the young Carter and include him in Cash Money-distributed songs. When he was 12, he played the part of the Tin Man in his middle school drama club’s production of The Wiz.

Also known as Weezy F. Baby, Lil Wayne has a collection of hardware not many can compete with. Dwayne Carter has been nominated for 70 awards and has won 29 of them, including five BET Awards, eight BET Hip Hop Awards, four Grammy Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, one MTV Europe Music Award, seven Ozone Awards, and three Vibe Music Awards. These awards include accomplishments such as Best Mixtape of the Year, Best Rapper, Best Video, Best Male Rap Artist, Best Lyricist, Best Collaboration, Artist Choice, Best Album, Best Rap Song, Best Performance, Best Ringtone, Peoples Champ Award, MVP of the Year, and Viewers Choice Award.
