Although it took the Black Crowes a few years to make it big as they went through a series of personnel changes after forming in the mid-1980s, they got off to a great start with their first studio album, Shake Your Money Maker. The 1990 release was a huge hit with singles like “Hard to Handle” and “Jealous Again,” and before long the band was opening for the likes of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Dave Matthews Band. Then just two years later they hit #1 with the release of The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion featuring the single “Remedy.” Those two albums made the Black Crowes one of the biggest bands of the 1990s, but their amazing run ended in ’02 when they went on a hiatus of unknown length. But it wasn’t long before they Black Crowes got back together again, and now they have released three albums over the past three years – Warpaint, Before the Frost…Until the Freeze and a greatest hits album entitled Croweology. The boys from Atlanta have also hit the road again, and GoTickets.com has your Black Crowes concert tickets for any show you want to see.
The Black Crowes tour schedule includes a great mix of amphitheaters and mid-size venues. Even though the band could easily sell out many larger arenas, this tour should make for a more intimate experience. Of course that also makes it more difficult to get Black Crowes concert tickets because of the relatively small capacity of some of these venues, but you can count on GoTickets.com to get you sold out concert tickets for any show on the Black Crowes concert tour.
The Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys Tour might just be the best one yet for the Black Crowes, as they have already put on some incredible performances by mixing their classic hits in with some of their newer material. Although the band members have changed quite a bit over the years, brothers Chris and Rich Robinson have been the glue that holds it all together, and they are still going strong.
