The name Guthrie has a long a rich history in the music business. Bob Dylan gives Woody Guthrie credit for making him want to be a musician and Arlo Guthrie crafted his folk style ballads into a voice of a generation in turmoil during the Vietnam War era. Though much his material was either too long or controversial for radio, Arlo Guthrie may not have garnished the attention he deserved but, fans are still coming out to his shows and he has continued to tour with his guitar and harmonica.
