From its roots in the brewing industry and manufacturing to its overhaul recently into an urban metropolis complete with sprawling green spaces and lakefront and riverbank entertainment, food and shopping districts, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has remained a thriving city that is home to more than 1.7 million residents in its metropolitan area. As the largest city in the state of Wisconsin, the city of Milwaukee was originally settled back in 1818 by French Canadian fur traders. In the ensuing years, much of Milwaukee’s cityscape has owed a debt to its many water features, which include Lake Michigan, the Menomonee River, the Kinnickinnic River and the Milwaukee River. Because of its proximity to so much water, temperatures in Milwaukee are often cooled by breezes off the lake, but the city also drops to frigid temperatures in the winter. The city of Milwaukee is home to many higher education institutes, which it credits with the distinction of being home to one of the country’s highest per capita student populations. Some of its popular collegiate centers include Marquette University, the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and National Louis University. Of course, Milwaukee is also home to the famous Miller Brewing Company. And GoTickets is home to the biggest selection of Milwaukee tickets.

Milwaukee Sports Tickets
When it comes to major league Milwaukee sports tickets, sports fans have two options – baseball or basketball. While the city is home to the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball and the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association, it does not have its own National Football League franchise. Because of this, for many years the Green Bay Packers of Green Bay, Wisconsin, split their home games between Green Bay and Milwaukee. Although that does not happen today, many Milwaukee sports fans still head to Green Bay for Packers tickets. The Milwaukee Brewers play baseball in Miller Park, which is fitting considering their team name. The Milwaukee Bucks, on the other hand, play at Bradley Center, which is also home to arena football’s Milwaukee Mustangs and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals.

Milwaukee Concert Tickets and Milwaukee Theater Tickets
Catching Milwaukee concert tickets and Milwaukee theater tickets is easy enough if you know the right venues to look for. Among the most popular venues in the city for music and live theater are the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, the Pabst Theater, The Rave, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall, Bradley Center, Miller Park and Marcus Amphitheater.
