Andy Warhol Museum tickets: The neurotic artist and socialite got his 15 minutes of fame during the 1960s, as became a fixture of pop culture. A Pittsburgh native, Warhol is immortalized in the Steel City with the Andy Warhol Museum, the largest American art museum dedicated to a single artist. Tour of the Pittsburgh museum give visitors a close-up look at more than 12,000 of Warhol’s pieces, some weirder than others. Pittsburgh isn’t the only place to have a museum dedicated to Warhol. In the small tow of Medzilaborce, Slovakia, about 30 miles away from his parents birth place, sits the Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art. Andy Warhol’s brother, John Wahola, established the tribute in 1991.
Pittsburgh sports tickets: Few fan bases are as passionate about their sports teams as Pittsburgh fans. Steelers tickets are much more than luxuries in Pittsburgh; they’re necessities. Every Sunday during the NFL season rabid fans of the Black and Gold pile into Heinz Field to root on the Steelers. Pittsburgh is also passionate about their NHL hockey, making Pittsburgh Penguins tickets hot commodities throughout Pennsylvania. Even Pirates tickets do well in Pittsburgh. Despite the Pirates struggles, a night out at the PNC Ballpark can be a beautiful experience for the entire family. PNC Park is one baseball’s hidden jewels and often doesn’t seem to get the recognition it deserves, possibly because the Pirates haven’t contended for a National League pennant since the early 1990s.
A Pittsburgh vacation can offer plenty of fun stuff for the entire family. But make sure you trip to the Steel City is a convenient and hassle-free as possible, by picking out your Pittsburgh tourist attraction tickets before heading off to Pennsylvania. You wont’ regret it.
