Coldplay tickets are in hot demand as the British quartet prepares to dazzle an American audience on their Twisted Logic tour. Coldplay tickets sell out quickly, as by now; U.S. listeners are familiar with the soothing voice of Chris Martin and company. Coldplay hits the road this summer in support of their latest album, X&Y. Coldplay concert tickets are at a premium as the band's stardom continues to skyrocket.
Following the success of the multi-platinum, and multi-award winning, A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y comes off an 18-month endeavor that the group has poured their heart and soul into. Production was going smoothly for X&Y until the band stopped in the middle of recording when they realized it was going too smoothly.
"Nothing good ever comes easy," Martin said about X&Y, so the band focused more on the music, than the "production" of the record, and found a more introspective sound that banished the "polished" feel that many groups succumb to. Instead of trying to sell records, Coldplay is trying to make music. Of course, it hasn't hurt them in selling concert tickets either.
X&Y contains the familiar quiet sounds akin to the likes of Travis and Radiohead, but also works in a multilayered, harder sound that drives home some of the political and worldly messages Coldplay stand for. The song Twisted Logic, from which the bands borrows for it title to its U.S. tour, is a darker, edgier, sound fans might not be use to. Drawing from an eclectic group of musicians for inspiration such as, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Kate Bush, and Pink Floyd, X&Y could stand to represent the turning point for Coldplay that separates them from the "corporate rock" sound many other bands fall into.
Order Coldplay tickets for the Twisted Logic tour to watch a real band of four friends make music and captivate an audience.
