The song Twisted Logic, from which the bands borrows for it title to its U.S. tour, is a darker, edgier, sound fans might not be use to. Drawing from an eclectic group of musicians for inspiration such as, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Kate Bush, and Pink Floyd, X&Y could stand to represent the turning point for Coldplay that separates them from the "corporate rock" sound many other bands fall into.
